===GREAT NEWS=== April 9, 2006 - We are happy to announce that the Board of Directors voted to hire Ruperto Rodriguez as Camp Manager. Hermano Ruperto is a well experienced professional who has a humble heart to serve our Lord through the Camp. Thanks to all who have been praying with us during our search for a new administrator at the Camp. ¡Bienvenidos! Camp Getsemaní is a Christian campground outside Cuidad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico on Federal Highway 2 leading to Piedras Negras adjacent to the "ejido" (township) of Santa María. Camp Getsemaní is the homebase for local outreach ministries and partnerships between U.S. and Mexican evangelical churches. We work in association with the local churches in Coahuila, The River Ministry of the BGCT and various churches from the U.S. and Canada. We welcome mission groups to use our facilities on their mission trips as they reach out to the lost along the U.S./Mexican border. We also welcome mission groups and churches to partner with us in the development of the ongoing outreach ministries sponsored by the Camp. We are a non-profit organization that is incorporated in Coahuila Mexico. |
